Hi all just got these babys and I thought I would tell ya about em

4 or 5 line this year, the leading edge is reduced dramaticaly in size but has a rigidness I havn't felt before on any kite, apparently cuben fibre inside dacron outside, the kites are very light and you feel an obvious increase in stifnesss in the struts and LE

the kites are very stable, no flaping taco-ing jellying, light bar preasure , fast turning,

Flew the 13 on 5 lines (25's) - beaut and the 9 and 11 on 4 lines (20's)

really happy with the kites they feel very different to last years kites

come down to brighton on most windy arvos and find me - then you can try one for yourself they are very nice indeed

I agree Carl, was out today for the first time on my brand spaning hot pink 2006 Yarga Pro... PHARK ! solid 25 knots and going off

The kite does not fly like the 05's it's a major improvement, well actually I cant say that as there has never been a pro series in best line up, but it's a huge leap forward from the 05 yargas.

Right out of the bag this kite is all new, crisp and solid in every way. The leading edge is "cuben" with a outer covering of "dacron" for bomb proof construction. There's many more improovements but thats just one.

In the air this thing is a machine !, trucks up wind, turns like it's on rails and flys like a home sick angel when you want to boost, it's a real performer

The kite is a 4 line kite and as Carl posted does indeed fly extemely well on 5... I chose to stay with 5 for safety.

A few more sessions and I'll be full bottle on this kite, as I stated it flys a little different from the other models and I like it.

Next weekend I test ride the 9m Waroo if the wind cooperates...

If the cuben fibre gives the leading edge and struts rigidity due to the stiffness characteristic of the fabric;
and the stiffness holds up over time;
and the construction issues with seams have been resolved;
then this will be an advancement in kite design.

However, there is still the problem of availability of the fabric for repairs etc.
The patchwork quilt syndrome is back to haunt us.

Ive had my 13 proto for bout 6weeks and nearly everyone hear has borrowed it at least 6 days of the week and it still looks great. They have added a Dacron cover over the Cuben in the production gear which will help proitect the leading edge.

Unreal kite and is the head turner up in QLD at the moment.
