Great kite, very powerfull (as much as most 14MT), jumps high and hangs very long. Flies very close to the edge of the wind (upwind). Negatives: does not depower much, requires lots of bar pressure, cannot edge it off in gusty conditions, a bit unstable during board tricks.

Overall: 8 1/2 out of 10

Best kites,

Have 10,12,14,16, Rhino 2's incredable hang time and boost up wind as good as any, you need to edge pretty hard to avoid being dragged windward though. I have Rhino 05 14m and Rhino 06 16m at the moment as well both quite good but in my opinion it's really hard to beat the R2 kites.

Had the 12 for a few months and found the jumps the best ever with plenty of lift and soft landings. did find that it lacked depower and when others were on there 14 -16 I could still ride fine but when others were on their 12's I was having a hard time holding the edge. I am 85 kilos. If you have a large quiver of these kites you are set but if you want 2 kites to cover your range from 13-30 then you are out of luck.
Sorry, I really did not add anything that was not already said in above posts. In the end I got rid of the 12 and got different brand of 10m and 15m that did not have the performance but were a bit quicker and more forgiving (more suited to me) as I was not ready for such a demanding kite.
