I heard they are horrible. Can't handle gusts. Good luck if you crash one in the waves.

I used one for teaching beginners they're pretty good kites and 9 metre can fly and ride comfortably in 15 knots water relaunch is pretty good also

Hey Bolgo,

The Mono is a bloody great little kite. The boys at Margies are all frothing on the 7 and 5m Mono's. I used them in Mauritius on One Eye and Manawa in a variety of conditions and loved them.

There is no 2018 Mono yet. The 2018 is due to be released in mid February. 2017 Mono is still current.

I like them for their abaility to fly so well when you're screaming down the line with the kite in extremely low apparent wind condition. The smaller ones are fast and responsive. I'll be taking them back to Mauritius again this year. The Neo has it over the Mono if you are looking for a wider wind range.
