Well its back on again for the 12th year the international kite festival. Its being held in the same place just by Semaphore Jetty. Every Year it gets bigger and better. For more details go to our website www.kiteshop.com.au Just to wet your appetite AIKF 09 will once again be a spectacular event with the highlight being a team of Japanese Kite Masters from the "Edo-Kite Preservation Society" attending. The team will be lead by Kite Master Mikio Toki. There will be all kinds of single line kite from makers worldwide, Dual line stunt kite displays including the amazing revolution kites, plenty of powerkiting on buggy's and landboards.
The important bit for you lot - Out on the water we will be kitesurfing with downwind races, freeride events, kickers/sliders and a boardercross event. Probably a best wipeout event as well. Photographers and cameras are needed as well to capture the moment for Utube fame
