We will be having an information stand to promote the Adelaide Kite Flyers Association (Our insurance covers single line kites, stunt kites and kite bugging but not kitesurfing - our members that kitesurf are also members of SAKSA).

We would welcome a SAKSA representative to hand-out kitesurfing information at the Festival, but understand there is also a major kitesurfing event at Robe on the same weekend (wish I could be there, too). If there isn't anyone available from SAKSA, we are happy to hand-out any SAKSA information you can provide us.

Kitesurfing is also permitted at Semaphore Beach, north of Semaphore Jetty, on Easter Saturday and Easter Sunday, 30-31 March. This area is normally off-limits, but we arrange special permission to use the area for kite-related demonstrations including traction kites.
