No kiting to be done at Glenelg. Kite beach is a few kms north at a place called Henley Beach. You could be riding anything from a 8m to a 14m this time of year.

Hey Kenno, Let us know when you get here and will fill you in on where to kite depending on the conditions. The winds are fickle this time of year, so you'll have to pack a full quiver and bring a good wetsuit(steamer). Unfortunately Glenelg Council are not very fond of kiters, but it is only a short drive to Henley as the pom stated.
Cheers kitecroc

PS, You will also find Lover Boy and Free Willy around the Henley area, they are very strange, look funny and are in to weird things. Be careful.

Thanks Guys, you have been more than heplfull. I hope to see you on the water, if work does not take up too much of my time. I work for a Company called Anaconda. They are a huge outdoor and camping super store that sell almost everything for the outdoors, except kite gear, bugger. The store is at Mile End and will open this Staurday.
