KICKER TIME!!!
Hey all, just a shout out to see if crew are keen to ride the kicker this summer. I have a 5ft stucture sitting in my backyard almost fully built... The deck is pvc 12 tubing, so about as board friendly as you'll get.

Last summer we rode only once, we just put stilts on it and plugging it into the sand. Problem was tide & ancouring, kept on getting knocked over by the wind chop. So the simple solution is to float it.

It'll take 3-4 guys to get it to the water edge so the whatever we use to float it gonna have to be failry bouyant. Has anyone got access to any plastic 44 gallon drums, Ancors or any other means of floating it...?

Let's get serious!

P.S; While your at it we could do with a few Sexy Wahini camera girls to shoot some video, just like in the movies. Now we're talkin!

there is a nice hollow section in the kicker for drubms, however what would be ideal is an old cool room door, the insulation foam in that stuff is super floaty,

also donations of anchors is required too

If you are still looking for plastic 44s, you can get them for about $10 each from Brompton Bag and Drum. (Coglin Street - look it up)

I've got a couple, but they are full of rainwater.

Thanks folks, We've just got some pvc tubing, we're cgonna make a little water tight stucture to run on the both the inside & out.

Just a few bits and pices from the hardware shop and we're nearly there. Still if anyone has any spare anchors lying round let us know!

Rhys, If you are still looking for anchors, I've got a boat claw anchor that I'm happy to donate. Not as good as a blade one in the sand but I'm sure it'll do the trick... Send me a pm if you are keen and I'll get it to you. Cheers.

Could be on Choppo! Just need a bit of drum action or else we use the pipe...
I'd rather save the pipe for a double rail slider, there'd be enough there for a faily long six foot high slider (plug in style).

Must get JMorgan involved, i reckon we could maybe use bits of the old slider to float kicker & make a deluxe version with the orange conduit.

We got an ancor so far, just need another, i'll see if gcraft wanna sponsor the movement...

Get Keen!
