The Adelaide Kite Flyers Association's annual Kingston Power Kite Weekend will be bigger and better than ever in 2009.
This year's event will include a 15km kite board downwind race

Just a reminder that the kingston trip is on this weekend. A bunch of us go down and spend the long weekend on the beach kiting. Normally buggys and landboards during the morning then when the wind picks up out on to the water. The beach is hard packed and 2WD can get along it easily and we have a great 15km downwinder from the camp spot to the granites. With film crew in cars following all the way along the waters edge.
