I dont actually have a race board I have never even seen one being used around here. But I have often thought North Haven on a Northwesterly would be the go with a raceboard. Great long flat water speed run.
Dont have a race board either but a bit of fun on a twin tip or surfboard I am sure. A race around the pole at North Haven would be good. (what ever that does) - Kiterben please comment. Caney may need a lesson or two!!!!!!!! What is the format of a race?
The pole you are referring to at Outer Harbor Jim, is a lead light which vessels use to keep in the deepest part of the channel when navigating in the day and night. During the day they align the triangular shapes together and at night they align the blue lights (when inline they are in centre of channel).
In a north westerly i would be happy to use my boat to run some floats out in the shape of a course. Even on twin tips it would be something different and fun.

Awesome Ben! Hey Jim, thanks to your help, I got to go around that pole several weeks ago! "Just lean back!" Made the difference mate! :-)
