Thanks to you all, it was my first downwinder and I enjoyed every minute. It was great being part of a moving swarm of kites! My legs were a bit rubbery by the end (and sore now) and i had to sleep thru the arvo instead of doing the usual list of weekend jobs (how sad) but it was all worth it. Great to meet a few new people too. Lookin forward to the next one and cant wait to see a few of the pics that were taken.
I know what you mean about terrible winter conditions! Keen as to see the photos, hopefully none of me nearly taking out largs jetty! PS Geoff, hope the new advertising for the business is going well! It was two clenches for scratch wasn't it??!!
