Heading over to Pt Lincoln / Coffins for a week before christmas.

Does any one from that way have any tips on locations, kite sizes and general do's and don'ts. For that area.

Looking for flat water spots.

I dont expect the locals to give away their cream locations just somewhere to kite and have some fun.

I do like the look of Yangie bay.

Cheers

Ben

Did you have much luck finding locations?
I've just come over for a week and am hoping to find beginner friendly spots.

You should be able to find a few beginner friendly locations, sadly i didn't have time to do much exploring as i was with three non kites and convincing people to sit on the beach and have the worst time of their lives while watching me have the best isn't an easy task.

Contact Easto and Jackie they have a website just Google extreme kite and paddle and I'm sure they would be happy to point you in the right direction.

It is nice to travel around and have a look at other locations but also makes you appreciate what we have on our door step in Adelaide, consistant seabreezes easily accessable beaches and a great kiting community.

Sorry for late reply

Cheers

Thanks Ben.
I'm back in Adel now anyway.
Monday would have been great but gave in to what the wife wanted.
The north end of the beach at Tumby looked perfect but with no other kiters around I wasn't game.

Back to Largs for me!
