Hi All
I have returned to adelaide after many years away, while I was away in WA I picked up this nasty little habit called kiting.
So now that I'm back I'm looking for my fix and some advice.
It seems like Henley is the most popular spot, but can you guys help me out on wind directions and new kit.
I sold up my kit before I left figuring I would buy new gear here for the conditions (conned the wife).
So what do I need, I'm a 100kg and looking for a 2 kite quiver I have 2 boards light wind (135x48) and normal (135x38).
I was thinking an 11m and a 15m do I need bigger? I don't tend to bother if it's real light.
Wind wise what directions are the cleanest or is it a case of take what you can get.
Is there anywhere to go when the wind goes east?

Cheers
Pete

Head down to Henley and start to meet the crew- see what people are flying and ask them why. The general go down here is a 12 and a 16 in most kites. If the wind is south east then victor or goolwa are the go- on the onboard website there is a list of spots and when they work.
