Went out this afternoon at my local spot just north of Grange Jetty, & whilst rigging up a Military Jet shot past heading North, not a huge distance from the end of the Jetty & only what appeared to be a few hundred feet off the surface of the water.

Had circumstances been a little different, i may have experienced a true spanking from an F16 !!!





This ones heading South....& it's not a Military Jet.......you get the idea!!!

I had just come in for a break at aldinga when that FA-18 screamed over my head too! Couldnt have been much higher than the trees at the top of the cliffs. Would have been scary if I was still on the water trying to dial boosting.....

Yep could have taken me out too...It was going so fast you don't hear it coming. Might be a good way to get to the wall from Noarlunga in about 1min if it hooked you up!
