Thanks Susie for sharing,

Opportunity for me to ask a few questions to the fellow kiters who practice snowkiting:
- can you practice at Falls Creeks or around (I will go there next month for the first time)?
- can you use the same kite than for kitesurfing?

Hope you have a good ski season Susie - leave me a bit of snow

Theres a guy who snowkites here every year but in the backcountry and he says you only use a training kite, you are already on the top of the snow and dont need or want that extra.

we've tried it at falls.

the biggest thing is you dont have as much friction as on water so with a normal kite you absolutely fly.

the wind in the snow is pretty gusty so go small.

falls is ok but no real flat spot.

perisher or charlotes is way better.
