well to day we found out our ban has been lifted on a temporary basis - hours of paperwork , meeting with councillors risk assessments - madia campaigns including local papers, radio tv and even national phone in shows..........

be pro active and support those people prepared to work on your behalf

theres a couple of guys broke their backs around my coastline and ill be owing them beers for life and of course a trip to adelaide shud we come..........

ask yourself how many accidents can your favourite beach take?

all the best

p.s. your forum is what we brits call "victor mildew"

Agree with the muppett.

To those with all the attitude:
Kiting has been around for five minuites but has managed to cause a ban which has included windsufers etc. How do you think they feel? I am not suprised the council wants to ban it. You got the new "extreme sport" that rocks up with no understanding of the weather or consideration of others, with more front than David Jones. There are kites hitting beaches across Adelaide, and as all you "extreme" atheletes know, it's not always the leaners. Get a grip of yourselves and have a think about it. Leave the negotiations to adults and concentate your own energy on growing up. And if you havent worked it out yet, being considerate of others is part of the gig. So all who read this, lets lift the standards at the beach. Try by start thinking of others next time you hit the water. There will be swimmers, windsurfers, seaguls and even plants on the dunes. If you don't hit or step on any of those, your a winner.
