Cape Jaffa is not so good, its flat and weedy, also Easterly wind is offshore, the closest spot to kite there is the Granites being 17 km North of Kingston, again Easterly is offshore, its best in summer with SSE to SW winds and even NW but the swell is weak, but its a nice big beach and fun. waves are like smaller and lumpy.

Beachport and Robe again not so good on easterly winds, is offshore and in winter you wont get the seabreeze pull that brings it around to the SSE and South which makes Longbeach and Robe a winner, Beachport will take more East than Robe but still not ideal.

Port Mac per High as a kite advice is around the bottom a bit more and therefore takes ESE much better. its also lower into the Low pressure and therefore more likely to have wind. pm High as a kite.

Spot on Dazz, been awhile.

We will be hanging out at what we call the skate park.

Drive into port mac from Mt Gambier.
Turn right, approx 1> 1.5 km on the left here is a boat ramp where all boats launch.

We kite the bay west of there. Between break water and light house.
We will be on the grass area there somewhere.( lighthouse side of the skate park)
It's a very safe spot to kite but I would rather tell you where to stay away from before you head out. (mainly up the lighthouse end).

Nice and flat for approx 500m out, the great waves.

We will be there about high tide. bit after mid day.

I'm the old guy, I drive a white ute.

I checked the reports and it looks like WNW on Saturday, Westerlies is okay in Robe, Granite's, Beachport but really good at Port Mac as the break water cleans it up. go to Port Mac westerly will be sick as! Keep the locals company, they're good guys. you can stay in the Port Mac park on a bit of lawn.

I kited East of the breakwater in the clean area but sounds like there are other options

even I'm feeling keen. see what the locals are doing as they will have it wired.
