I just wanted to make our Kiting Community, friends and visitors to the Gold Coast that there is a 10 Year Waterways Management Strategy plan in place that is seeking all concerned Waterways users input via an Online Survey. Reading through the draft strategy it does nothing to identify that Kiteboarders are regular users of these areas and have been for some time or are they aware that we would like to keep our current areas free of any further moorings, boat ramps and alike "Cruise Ship Terminals" that may restrict our areas any further. I guess if you feel this is important to voice your concerns that you would like these areas preserved and free of further moorings or any other water use restrictions like "Cruise Ship Terminals or associated bridges running across to Wave Break Island" then I suggest you jump on their the Gold Coast Waterways website fill out the survey and have your little say in about the last box on the survey like I did

You can do this by visiting: gcwa.qld.gov.au
Please hurry as the survey ends by the 1st November 2013 and if you don't there may be little other chance to have our say!!!
