like the thread title says, I just wanted to say thanks.

Quick disclaimer... I am in no way associated with the shop I am giving praise here.

I bought a second hand kite from Ocean Addicts in Maroochydore. I didn't have a lot of cash to play with and they gave me the best kite they could for the money I had.

It turned out that there were some problems with the bladder (which i don't blame them for, I didn't expect that every 2nd hand kite would have all its bladders removed and inspected before sale... somewhat impractical).

Anyway, long story short, I am only back in Oz for 3 months and then I'm back off to Europe, so I REALLY wanted to take advantage of whatever wind was available because central Europe doesn't really have too many Kite Surfing opportunities nearby.

The repairs took a bit longer than expected, but Ocean Addicts kept me in kites and on the water the whole time. I haven't missed a single session since arriving whilst waiting for my kite.

The upshot is that I now have a good quality 2nd hand kite and didn't miss a single opportunity to get on the water.

Thanks heaps Ocean Addicts, I am absolutely stoked!!!

thirded, bought a used kite from them last year for a very good deal, and they were falling over themselves to help me. Well worth the drive from Bris. Cheers OA,
