Hey Everyone, I m new on the forum, I m 23 years old and I started kiting about 9 months ago.
I was really into it at first and progressed fairly quickly but then I started surfing again and kind of left my kite aside for the last 6 months or so. I m looking for people who kite quite regularly anywhere on the gold coast in order to be helped launching and landing, maybe enjoy a couple of advices by better riders than me and especially share a good laugh with cool people.
I have a car and I m happy to give a ride to any fellow kiter.

Hey mate and welcome to the forums, I was thinking of heading down to the Goldy for a change but I think this winter wind is not helping much may have to wait till August or September.
Where have you been kitting down there haven't been yet, any flat water, I always kite at sandgate, got a new kite last week too been itch-en to try out but the wind has been horrible. Got a 15 minute ride on but since then nothing.

Im in the same boat mate. Loved the kite to start but its just too easy to go for a paddle instead, hence I haven't kited at all in the last 3 months. I'll be back on the goldy as of next week so send me a message on here and hopefully can gee up a session.

Hey guys, sorry on the late answer I ve been busy as hell lately. I used to kite at Currumbin and Shearwater mostly and I did a kite trip to the fijis last year as well. Sounds good mate I ll text you or give you a buzz when I m a little less busy.

i'm also just starting kitesurfing.
i had a few lessons in brisbane and bali. i will have a few more soon with surf fx.
bought my equipment this week and can't wait to get into it.
i work and live on the gold coast and look also for people to get in touch.

hey guys,
im on the Goldy as well. just bought myself all my gear and I'm in the process of doing lessons. and ill be super keen to ride. i do 2 weeks on 2 weeks off with work so ill have heaps of time to ride if anyone is keen. ill be back in a week and a half

hay guys,
i am Lukas from Germany, i have arrived 4 weeks ago in sydney.
At the moment i am staying in Ballina and searching for work ;)
Is anybody out there, who also wants to learn to kite?
So we can support each other by learning it ;)
My plans are to travel up the east coast and menawhile learning kitesurfing :)
Would be really cool because alone its boring and difficult ( starting and launching the kite...)
