Me and two other local kiters were out enjoying a light wind sess at Narrowneck on the GC today with our Zephyr's when the wind started to drop off further and we started to come in. Local kiting identity "Willy" was confronted by the Lifeguard on his 4 Wheeler asking him if he had a kitebag laying on the beach that may have went missing? Upon checking, Willy noticed his bag gone from laying up against the sand dune where he had left it The Lifeguard had promptly handed it to him and said some dude chased a guy up the road a bit after noticing him as an unsavoury looking type (approx. mid 40's greyish hair and rats tail or pony tail with a t-shirt partially wrapped around his head) scurry off with it. The unsavoury type was running and checking the bag a the same time and tossing s.h.i.t out of the bag as he was doing the Harry Holt. The kind dude could not keep up the chase with the dude, as he was in office sivvy's and dress shoes but picked up the discarded bag and took it to the Lifeguard in his Mellow Yellow Castle. On receiving the bag back Willy had noticed that all the contents were missing from the bag which was his Kite Pump and car keys.

Willy met up with the kind dude that gave explanation and then Willy went off up the road and found his Kite Pump in the bushes but could not locate his car keys. Willy did later admit to having a F@#king Key Lock in his car glove box but was too lazy to get it out and put his keys in and lock it to his car, which I added the exclamation to Willy that I guess it won't be staying in the Glove box from now on to which he replied "Too Right". The kind dude then offered and drove Willy back to his joint to pick up his spare keys, what a legend was that kind dude

So I guess the moral to the story is avoid leaving your gear on the beach while out doing "The Sport of the God's" as the Low Life Lurking Parasites are everywhere and use your F@#king Key Lock if you have one!

Willy here?.The real funny bit was when I got home the misses was out and had left the house unlocked AND forgot to put on the alarm!! Lucky for me, as it was an easy break and entry to get the spare key. A slight ratchet up on the home and car security is due me thinks!
