To the gentleman that plucked me out of the middle of the broad water today and let me hang on to his footstrap and drag me back to the beach this afternoon.....I owe you as many beers as you can drink. Thank god it was blowing a fair strength in order to be able to do that. You are a true gentleman. Thankyou. To the guys sailing the catamaran that decided to tack in front of me and take my kite lines out with your mast, thanks for throwing me a life jacket and keeping me alive. I was really in a bit of strife there at one stage as I was being dragged underwater by the capsized cat and my lines tangled around the mast. Scary couple of minutes had by all. Bobbing up and down in the middle of the broad water on the Seaworld side was not the most pleasant of experiences I must admit.
Kirtis/Toddy. I retrieved my Kite, bar, lines and harness about 1km south but my board is gone. Thanks boys for leaving all my gear on the beach. SurfFX, I will see you tomorrow.

Faaarq Johnny, Sounds like we are gonna have to get you in the surf quicker than xmas time to get a bit more room around you!!!! Hope you had your name and number on your board

Sounds like you're not gonna let one little scary incident stop you, so I'll catch up with you on the weekend, if you're going to kfc.....

Wow John that must have been a bloody scary ordeal for you. You looked a bit white as a ghost after you got out of the water and briefly mentioned to me what happened. Of which I did not understand the full extent untill now. Good to hear you recovered most of your gear and I hope it has not sustained to much damage for you. Have you have posted info on the lost and found section on Seabreeze or the GCB John as your board might turn up somewhere there with a bit of luck or Surf FX. All the best with it mate and hope to see you back on the water. Cheers Kurtis

wow man, you guys down at KFC have proven yourselves to be a great bunch on countless occasions! Sounds like a lucky save there! I had a similar situation where I blew a center line attachment in what sounds like a similar position to you... a 200m drag to the island in the middle and saved by a bunch of kiters set up on the other side with jetski!! As I said, great bunch of blokes.

I hope Jon helps you out there!
