Hi all,

I'm trying to get in contact with a kite board that helped us out off Wellington Point on Sat 15 June @ 1pm
We were in a trailer sailer which ran aground.
He had a black kite. Colours on board were white black and orange from memory.

Want to make sure he got his gear back ok and say a huge thanks for helping us out.

Thanks
Kate

Hi Kate
I was out on Sat at Wello and I did see your boat....to be honest I thought where just anchored up close to the sand bar......not run aground!
I probably should have come and had a closer look!
Anyway, I don't know who the guy was, and I'm pretty sure the only black kite out on Sat that I seen was a griffin kite .
Hopefully someone will be able to put you in contact with him.
Glad to hear everything turned out ok

Hi, was out too and saw you guy's get stuck but was unsure what was happening and I kept kiting around too
see that all was ok... Which was the case after seeing you motor off! I launched the guy with kite who helped
you and I would like to say well done too him. He went out of his way too help you guy's on the yacht, which
like anyone in the same situation would have appreciated! Good on ya on the Griffin!

Here's too looking out for each other!

Don't get that much these days!!!
