I would like to fly from Brisbane to Cairns for few weeks alone to have some goog kite session, so I need to stay close to the spot, but except with 5 stars beach front hotel at 300$/n, it's difficult to find accommodation there...so if you have some tips or if you want to share your appartment, please answer.

Salut Damien,

I have stayed at the golden sands resort in the past. It was much cheaper than 300AUD. If I remember the figures it was 150aud for a 2-bedroom flat.
its ON the beach where all the kiting is taking place.
Im going to Cairns for two weeks on Sat. and I ll end up in Yorkies knob in the last week I think. I aim to stay there.

Hi all,

I have the same idea than you Damell! for the moment I'm in Byron Bay and I leave in 2 and alf weeks for Cairns for kitesurfing a lot! Maybe we can check to share a flat or something like this, but something not so expensive.

If you find a stuff, and me to I tell you.

Maybe someone have a link?

Thanks for answering, I need to check with my present job in Brisbane for the date, but I would probably go there around the 10th of august. If I can't find smth cheaper around Cairns, I'd rather go to Bali, for the same budget I can stay longer there. But yeah would be good to share smth there. Let me know if you have good stuff.
