Does anyone know where to get modified equipment for people with wheelchairs to Kite surf or wind surf in Australia? Is their a company based in Cairns? Thanks

I've seen a lot of Cabrinha videos with a wheelchair rider, he's really good. Not sure where to get the board from but you could shoot them an email. Think they have been refining the board and are now on version 3 or 4?

Do a google search for "Christophe Martin" and you should find it.

Hi - following on from Gateman's reference...

A few years back there was an inspiring article (I think in Kiteworld but could be Kitesurf magazine) + video of an ex-israeli army guy - who was a paraplegic - it covered the evolution of the equipment to some degree - if I find this will post link
I did find this...

http://www.designed-in-israel.com/En/WorkPage.aspx?wID=2039&cid=30&eid=7 which may be related....

cheers

Great idea
Suggest drug rehab patients or difficult children could benefit as well
Suggest flotation important for people without legs
Or look to the snow.
