nnw today where to kite sunshine coast?

Hey Guys I'm still quite green but am up and riding, is there anywhere to kite today in a nnw mabe one of the lakes or cotton tree?

Give it a couple of hours, it will clock around to the North and then NE then you will have your pick!

I hope it does, but seabreeze says nnw all weekend. Is there anywhere if it stays nnw?

Nut!!Pray for NNE or Ne and Cotton tree will be all time.I love that place.

There is a potential that the seabreeze could fail but it's fairly unlikely. No real options apart from DI.

Maybe try Mooloolabah Spit out near the seaway into the eastary

But it maybe out of bounds for kiters

Lots of people on the beach there sometimes

Check with the lifeguards

My mate has kited there in NNW winds

Said it was OK

Yeah I wasn't going to mention the spit. That whole section of beach from the spit that Alex is classified as a bathing reserve, so technically out of bounds. Definately not the place for someone who's still green on a busy weekend, otherwise it might go from "technically" to signs up

How far round does the bathing reserve go, going north back towards cotton tree...?

Pretty sure it's rock to rock from memory, there is a map around somewhere can't remember where. Maybe on the SEq kiting guide?
