Has anyone ever kiteboarded in Point Cook Coastal park, it looks like it might be good in southerly and northerlys on the map, but you cant always believe maps

It would probably be ok on anything from sth east to sth west. From memory it kind of get deeper quicker that many spot , a bit like the west side of Altona across the creek.
There some rocks (reefs) around there and towards the homestead a couple of old jetty's under the water, i cant remember where but i think more towards the homestead.
They do a reef walk tour there during summer for the kids , there are heaps of urchins and rays there. I have launched my kayak there to head out fishing quite a few times, most times its been deserted or near to it.
Maybe a trip at low low tide to have a look would be the best bet just to get the layout of what you may be able to see. As the weather gets warmer they open up longer hours.
