Hi guys,

Does anybody know about kiting in Broome? I'm going up at the end of April (to late?) for a few days and was thinking about putting my kite on the plane, then I thought "wait a sec I need some advice!" Any one help

Also I work FIFO so if any one wants to do trip up to Lano on a weekday that would be on the cards too, especially the 15th of March.

Keep it real

Josh

You can kite in Broome that time of year, the wind is generally easterly. Town beach is the place for an easterly it's a bit hit and miss though just check the forecast before you leave

Yea a 14 or 15 will do it maybe a 12 that time of year as the morning easterly's can be a bit stronger. i wouldnt reccomend this spot if you are a beginner as it can have strong currents and the takeoff can be scetchy but if you know what your doing get on it!!!

Yeah i got a bag that fits two kites and a nice fat board (142x43) so I'll take them up for a go, be a shame If I get up with no kite and there is wind every where!
