Hi,

I have just started exploring this sport and have purchased a trainer kite after having my first lesson at Sans Souci the other week.
Over the next few months I plan to fly the trainer as much as possible at the beach ( only 300m away ) to make flying\handling it second nature.

As a complete newbie I want to avoid mistakes with gear and techniques. I would prefer not to have to travel to Sydney for lessons, so would appreciate any locals advice or tips. I know that most likely I will need to head back up to Syd to continue the learning process.

Are there any Illawarra based instructors ?

If you plan on kiting at Woonona\Bellambi let me know Id love to watch.
