Im looking at doing 3-4 months kiting abroad. Does anyone know of places that would be good to do a season with plenty of wind, night life, hot weather, cheap living, plenty of other traveling kiters?

I was thinking Thailand or South America but ive only just taken up the sport and have little knowledge. If there was a kiting clinic to help improve your skills that would be great.

Any ideas?

Any one else done something similar?

Cheers

Hey I'm heading to Thailand on boxing day, then traveling through south east Asia for about 4 months, kitesurfing when I can. I learnt to kitesurf in Vietnam at a place called mui ne. It's a small beach town that is fkn awes. It has one of the best tradewinds in Asia. I would highly recomend it. Cheap food. Cheap accomidation right on the beach and most importantly, cheap beer!!! Boracy in the phillipines is meant to be really good aswell. I'm sure you will find some spots around the islands in Thailand that will be great for a kite aswell!
Good luck and safe travels!

Cool thanks for the advice, me and a mate will be heading over to south east asia for 3 months in 2 weeks time. Starting off in Hua Hin in Thailand then heading over to Vietnam will hopefully be in mui ne at some point. If anyones looking to do a spot of travelling their welcome to join us. Laters
