We look forward to seeing you all at the social gathering to mark the 2009/10 season opening. Weather permitting, we will meet at Kitebeach Brighton (beach north of the BLSC club house - not the one south of the BLSC club house with the bathing boxes). Actual position will depend on the wind - if northerly then we will be at the north end of the beach (nearest the Royal Brighton Yacth Squadron) else at the southern side just "to the right" of the BLSC clubhouse and car park.

BBQ will be available to everyone for a gold-coin donation (per person, per serve), Non-alcoholic soft-drinks will also to be offered on the same gold-coin donation basis.

If you have not yet renewed your membership, or wish to join KBV then please ask to be directed to the person responsible for sign-ups while you are there. Renewal forms and prepayment possibilities will be on offer. We hope that the various schools and instructors will also be present to assist with enquiries about lessons and getting started.

KBV maintains an alcohol-free policy - Soft-drinks will be available - We ask you to help us by not consuming alcoholic beverages at the gathering. We would also appreciate your assistance in keeping our "impact" on the environment low - rubbish and recycle bins will be provided.

And dont forget your gear just in case the wind is favourable - it has started stabilising already...
