I was wondering which body I'm meant to join and pay for my membership/insurance through?

www.kbv.com.au/AKSA's last update in their news section was from 2013 however KBV's site states "KBV is affiliated with the Australian Kite Surfing Association (AKSA) and Members are covered under the AKSA insurance policy"
Last year I was with AKSA and just received their renewal. I just renewed but noticed their site was a bit dated so I wanted to ensure the insurance I'm paying for I'm actually getting.
I live in Victoria so if I'm meant to use KBV I'm happy to swap over.
