Hi folks,
I'm headed on a trip with my family that will bring me to Maui, Sydney and Melbourne starting next week. We are actually renting a house in Venus Bay for 10 days around New Years. Since we have limited space, I'm confined to bringing just one kite. Question for you all is :
-What's the likelihood of decent wind in late December/early January in the Inverloch area?
-If you had to bring one kite, what size would it be?
-Any place or anyone willing to rent out a board ? I'd be more than happy to repay the favor if you ever are visiting San Francisco, California.

Local kite school GoKite MIGHT rent you a board but not sure. They will be at the fishing club were most people kite, you'll find it.
Good wind is likely this time of year but strength could be 15-25knt plus depending on the day. A 10-12m kite would be your best bet depending on your weight

Why did you choose Maui instead of Honolulu?
I am going there this Christmas and no idea which kite to take. Any advise?
Inverloch, I have been there with 12/10.
If you visit Sandy Point you might need something smaller.
