I'm heading down to Rye this weekend. I'm hoping for a northerly so I can check out Rosebud but if I do get a Easterly I'm wondering which is most beginner friendly out of Balnarring, Flinders and Point Leo ? I don't mind some chop/waves since I ride at Mentone but not keen on bigger waves yet.
In order of 'friendliness': Balnarring, Point Leo, Shorham, Flinders. I would suggest sticking to Balnarring it is a great safe beach with plenty of room.
