Phillip Islands in my experience you have 3 different beach directions for wind directions and also have options if big or small swell and flat water and only 20min away from Inverlock

Salt, Sandy Point "Front Beach" is a fantastic wave. Go for a blast in the Inlet as well... Inverloch also has some good breaks but not as good as Phillip Island. Just remember the best wind direction at Phillip Island coincides with the surf break. In Christmas time it gets really busy at the Island and locals are OK with kites but the holiday makers get ticked off.

If you use bit more bucks WA in Summer is Sick Down wind ride at Scarborough are great and good crew and Margs for bigger waves Camper van or ABNB

I'm going to do this. Margaret river should be awesome. Can you send contact for down winder? I was going to do it years ago but wind was too light the day i tried.

For do down wind at Scarborough Just go to Triggs carpark a get a ride with crew up to City beach Just make shore you have a few cold one in the car when you get back to triggs to share Great crew I normally kite at Yallingup first then head down to Margs area latter in the day
