Hey, i'm still new to this and want to get out on the water, but is there some sort of strap made to attach the board to your leg so when i stack i don't lose the board.

I am aware a strap wouldn't work for many tricks, but for just starting out it seems like a decent idea.

Any ideas?



Also, just wondering where is a good spot in melbourne/vic to practice basic skills would be. Ive only had my own kite out twice and last time the wind was too inconsistent to do anything.

Board leash = lazy and mostly unnecessary, and dangerous... depending on who you talk to.
Your learning to kite, so you need to learn to body drag proficiently. Relying on a board leash is going to make you a lazy kiter, and potentially injure you.

As for locations, St Kilda is probably your best bet as there's heaps of schools there you can ask for advice if you need it. Other than that, check the KBV website for locations and look for the beginner friendly ones.
