I know i'm really new to the forum, and I feel cheeky asking but I figure yoiu can only say yay or nay.

We are visiting Melbourne/Lakes Entrance/and sunshine coast or other warmer place maybe (August) and I could do with borrowing a board, a harness and pump for a few weeks.
I cant bring all my kit with me (I can squeeze in one kite a bar and my wet suit).

Would any of you guys out there be willing to let a total stranger borrow a bit of kit (I'll happily leave a deposit and a slab of beer or something for your trouble) or If there is somewhere where I can hire at a reasonable rate please point me in the right direction - my experience of board hire (in Egypt) is shocking or it was, you may as well buy a new board as 2 weeks of hire would have cost over £300!!

Open to offers - and critism

cheers
also - in August what shoudl I bring - my 9M or 12M (yeah I know - breingyou own bloody board :))

Pump costs $25 new - or less on eBay - wear your harness on the plane, or whatever but certainy shouldnt take up too much space - and trying to find a fit is not so easy unless you approach one of the kiting schools - hiring a board is very reasonable and many of the local retailers and/or schools would accommodate that - however consider eBay and get one that you can put back on eBay when done or donate it to a local charity..

OK, to make it clear , to all who read this...a mate of mine holds board building courses if that's what u like.... or i have 2 tables and make boards too. if u want to make ur own ....u supply the beer , and pay for the glass, carbon,Kevlar, balsa, resin, and any pads and straps u like..maybe about $2-300 ....plus u can put any pic's u like in it or fabric's or posters...so to sum it up get on the piss in the morning finish the board in the evening around my pizza oven, and ride the board the next day.......
