Hi Guys,

1st time that I need a repair, so would need some advice.

Have 2 holes in my canopy that I'd like to have repaired, so wondering where to go. SHQ is the closest for me but if any other place is better, let me know...

cheers

I tore my kite in halve on wednesday afternoon. I took it to horizon sails in sandringham,
Picked it up thursday afternon.
I couldnt beleive the quality of the craftsman ship. You would never know it had been repaired unless I told you.
Repair cost me $185 which is reasonable considering they had to open up the bladder!
Would highly recommend them

+1 for horizon sails. My brother had his kite repaired. 4cm rip fixed for $15.

There is also a guy in Tweed Heads called Moti Levi who has a very good reputation. You mail the kite up and he pays the freight back with then repaired kite. He is also ver cheap, like a 6cm rip for $50 ish. This giuy has been repairing kites for many years.

+2 Horizon Sails.
Had a repair done a few years back and they did a great job. Make sure the kite is not full of sand, it causes problems with their sewing machine.

I can also recomend Lindsay at Irwin Sails , (03) 9532 0868 he has fixed quite a few of my kites, from a little rip to a fully split canopy, good price, great work and quick turn around. Last time he also found and fixed a whole in my leading edge I did not yet know about, probably saved me a new bladder
