Its absolutely honking out there today. In light of the sad events out in WA this week, everyone please be careful in these nutty onshore winds! My whole house is shaking at the moment.

Who was the nutjob rigging up at 8.30am at St K. (East of the kiddie pool). Glad to see you were wearing a helmet!

Heck of a day. Thought it would stay a bit northerly so checked out Rosebud, was fully west with a bit of south so went to the back beach and it looked like something out of an end of the world movie. Massive swells, unable to stand up looking at the beach due to the amount of sand being kicked around, land cruisers fishtailing in the parking lot due to the sand on the pavement and the wind.
Ended up getting back to town and had some time so checked out Altona, got about an hour of gusty choppy kiting on a 7m till around 530.
