Nothin to do with kiting but just thought i'd share my experience i had tonight down at west beach. I was sitting on the wall after a swim when a 4wd drove up the bike path and took out a cyclist. 3 guys, 1 with a baseball bat, chased this poor cyclist on foot up the road. Luckly unable to catch him. They did however take his bike. On talking and helping the cyclist afterwards, he had said that he had never seen them before. Police were called and given the rego, so hope the bastards get what they deserve. Pretty scary incident, Like to think you can enjoy your afternoons without being randomly attacked like this!!!! take care.

Was this around 8 or 9pm last night? Cos I was walking past and must have seen the aftermath cos there were heaps of police cars and an ambulance...

Nah, I think that was an incident involving a family feud between 2 families.. Apparently 50 people involved in a fight. Someone got stabbed as well. You have to wonder what sort of families get involved in this type of crap on the beach in front of other people. Wonderful example to set to their kids.

Apparently another incident on sunday at 9:30. Two youngsters attacked some cyclists, then another cyclist came to their aid and they took him on as well, then a motorist came to his aid and had a rock thrown at his car before they disappeared. Hope they catch the bastards.

Thats one thing I hate about this time of year...the bogans come down to the beach and create havoc after a little booze gets in them.
