Forecast for tomorrow looks promising and I was thinking of getting a pre work session in at around 7am. Any takers?

That's the sound of one hand clapping....

Did you get out, Ed? I've tried 3 consequtive pre work sessions, each time it was predicted to be over 20knots, and each time there was less than 10knots.

Yea, same. Unless there is a major overnight fronal system coming in (the sort that wakes you up) then it never seems to be quite enough.

Whats the odds that tomorrow morning won't show?

I skipped the dawn patrol. I got up at 6 and checked the wind, super gusty and straigth north, not a a tiny bit of west in it. Brighton in a northerly is risky enough but alone in the dark would have been insane.
I went to work instead, bailed early and was on the water around 13.30. Still super gusty (felt more like bullriding) and just 2 others on the water, at least it was not crowded. :-)
Still got an ok 1.5h session in, withdrawal syndrome is less severe now...
