Man, keeping the kite up today was a challenge of note. Just a quick question guys: 10m Crossover with a 135 board. I'm 65-70kg's depending on the week... what's your thoughts on my setup for Melbourne weather? Thinking I might be needing a slightly bigger board...

Hmmm then and again I'm a newbie so what do I know...
Any feedback is not only welcome but greatly appreciated.

Just work on your technique..... And sine the kite ... Bar in on the way down bar out on way up.

I was out today on a 128 board 10m kite 93kg it was marginal but rideable

Thank you Mr Potter.... Appreciate the feedback. Today was rough for me... Very gusty, kite falling out the sky to zooming across the window at the speed of light.

Got a bit of work ahead of me. Thank God my instructor is always by my side

Aah, soo good to know bud! I was hoping that's the case! Most Probably an issue with the link between the kite and the board (me) lol I'm still **** scared of my kite. Soo much power! Feel like I'm trying to tame a wild beast, I think we've got a love hate relationship but we're working it out

Well if you're going out in challenging conditions you're bound to improve. Just be careful!
To progress faster, try and understand what kite/you was doing that you didn't like/understand.
Step up to someone that seem like they know what they're doing out on the water and ask them for tips related to your issue. Apply that new knowledge during the next session.

And don't panic! Things never turn out good when you panic while you're still hooked to a kite.

It was mostly cross shore... not the greatest quality of wind but will do ALMOST anything to get some more confidence and experience, provided it's safe enough to do so.
