Go to Altona. Please go to Altona. No other beach in Melbourne takes an Easterly. Go to Altona.

it is Christmas and the care factor is most likely close to zero.... I put up a 7 yesterday expecting some serious boosting but got nothing but mowing the lawn trying to stay off the sand!

Had plenty in the Gippsland Lakes tday.
Lakes Entrance had 36 gusting to 48 kts.
At our spot at Eagle Point it was 20-25 lunchtine then built to 25-28 and gusting prob to 32-35 kts.
Dave kited on a 10m SB, did a 25min upwind tack to go in smooth water at Pt Fullarton, played for couple hrs then rode the waves downhill bout 3kms back, saw a Tiger snake in the water too!

Hey mate, I'll be down that way this weekend. My parents have a place out at Newlands Arm.

Hopefully we get a good session in Saturday. Do you guys hit up Tambo Bay in a S/W?

I reckon Werribee South would be sweet.... specially around Campbell's Cove and thereabouts!

Any kiters there that can give more info? Looks like it would work great on an Easterly
