I reckon it can be alright. Bit of windswell, but also a bit gusty.

carrum or seaford is better but Frankston works too, best with abit of W in it ..IMO.

ive kited seaford in a direct northerly, i would only recomend it if your confident as when you get further out it tends to blow a bit offshore.

Some great memorys on that beach in 35kn!

Agree that a bit of west gives cleaner more reliable wind but Ive had some awesome fun on northerlies. Seaford (Keast Park) or Frankston (try Long Island tennis club, my favorite) works.
Also dont trust the wind data for Frankston off baywinds, its normally reads 5knts or so less than whats actually on the water (for northerlies)

Frankston is better than carrum on a northerly. Carrum is better than frankston on a southerly! Half the time frankston is no good on a Northerly and light wind, but a slight west in it and its worth checking out! Awesome when its 25+ nots NW

Anyone get out for a kite yesterday down Frankston? Went down to rosebud was alrite first time down there for a Propper kite wind seemed to be a bit funny came and went all day. Pretty sick down there nice and shallow and flat! Prob would of been better further down the peninsula so it wasn't a cross shore wind? Was under powered on an 11 pain in the arse kept ending up down the beach was so hard to stay upwind.
