Not sure what you want anyone to do - rather research alternatives that you can go to in Melbourne's low wind periods?? Suggest fidji (and join the rest of the st kilda bods) or even noumea - great spot - Ansa Vata!!!

I'd say my kiting has halved since the seabreeze's stopped... that's if we even had any in the summer! In the last 4 weeks i've had 4 good sessions. Whilst not as much as i'd like... it's more than enough to keep me going.
I always seem to have my best sessions in the colder months where the fronts roll through and the winds that bit stronger, and there's fewer people on the water.

As Ewan said... give it another few weeks then you'll be pulling out your storm kite and catching some of the awesome northerlies!

Thats really good news about july winds perhaps my new 7m will have something to do in the end, hope everybody had great session in altona on sat.The wind was not that strong but at least was blowing all day, personally after 5 hours in the water I could kite no more- and thats a shame since no more wind on the horizon.
Evan ,Koma excuse my ignorance but where are you going to kite in gusty N in July, not in Brighton????.

Saturday was alright. I spent the day demoing a Flysurfer Speed 2 10m and a Psycho IV 10m at Altona. Sure is odd being the only one on a doona with all other LEI riders giving me weird looks! Turned out to be an entertaining and educational day... but i'm gonna stick with my LEI's.

Come on wind! Monday (looong weekend!) & Tuesday are looking alright at the moment.
