I'm at Inverlock waiting for the wind. Any advice on kiting here for a beginner?
I guess it is better on the incoming tide? Is it OK in a westerly? I see that it is usually recommended for SW and SE.

its ok, it can be a bit gusty

Seems to be about 8 Knots gusting 28. Slightly offshore. Perhaps it will be better late in the afternoon.

I'm holidaying down here in Inverloch. Westerly is Ok but gusty. Probably best to go on incoming tide if you are learning so your board drifts into the shallows.
