Gday, moved to Geelong not to long ago from Cairns. I saw one guy kiting at Torquay a few days ago though was told the wind will soon change and the spot will be around ocean grove? I don't know the area too well so where exactly is a good spot to go?
Also, I went for a swim but the water was so cold it hurt haha.. what do you guys recommend? a 7mm scuba steamer or a 3/2mm surf steamer? ps, apparently I am skinny (70kg 183cm)

Hey bloke,
I kite around Ocean Grove a bit in the summer, but over winter most of the kiting will take place in the bay as it tends to blow from the north.
a 3/4 steamer does the job for me with a hoodie and booties.
Yes it gets really cold.
