Hi Everyone,

Just to confirm some logistics ahead of the weekends comp:

Eligibility:
- You must be a KBV member and comp is free for KBV members
- Juniors: Must be under 18 as of June 7th this year.
- Masters: Over 35 as of June 7th this year

You can compete in as many comps as you are eligible for.

King of the Bay:
Depending on wind - we may also run a King of the Bay comp (Big Air).


Schedule:

Saturday:
- Registrations are from 09:30 - 11:00
- Rider Briefing: 11:30
- Comp Kick: 12:00 (subject to wind)

Sunday:
- Registrations: 10:00 - 11:00
- Rider Briefing: 11:30
- Comp: 12:00 (subject to wind)

The wind is going to dictate the weekend events so please be flexible. In terms of location - we don't plan to move locations (due to the need for permits). We have permission for alternative dates (following weekends) at St Kilda if the wind doesn't show. We'll post updates on our facebook page and here before the event and over weekend so people can stayed clued in.

Fingers crossed the wind comes good! We'll post final logistics up on Friday so you all know what's happening.

State Titles postponed to next week - confirm???

Hi Derek, are you rolling the event next weekend, the long weekend?

Guys - we have confirmed that the States can run this weekend at St Kilda Beach, which is great news. The format is exactly the same as recently posted. We also have the Bank Holiday Monday available as contingency but we hope we won't need to use this. Hope to see you all down there.

Sunday will be a later start due to a triathlon at St. Kilda (3pm) but we'll confirm Sunday's schedule here later and at the rider briefing on Saturday.

is there gonna be wind?

Is my forecasting great at the minute for tomorrow - early morning looks good and then it does off. However, there is a decent base wind there for the day and with a bit of a seabreeze we might do alright. More updates on conditions and comp throughout the day on facebook.
