I was kiting down at west beach this arvo. At around 5:00 noticed a Kite that ooked like it was down over Main beach. Anybody else see it? bad normaly but espescially in the wind we had this arvo.

I left main beach around 5:30. Didn't see anyone get hurt by then. A couple of overpowered people came in when the big gusts came through at 4:30.

I'm fairly new to Melbourne. Is main beach the one south of the baths? That's the beach I mean.

South of the baths ? I dont think you are allowed to kite there . The main bit is within the big L of the jetty and rock groin.

Thinking about it now, it might have been the guy who had his chicken loop break. I think his kite got ripped but he was okay.
