Hi,
Im from Perth and am heading to Sydney for a couple of weeks starting next weekend (29th April 2011). I haven't been to Sydney before and am hoping to take my 7mtr kite and wave board. Is there wind, beaches, waves etc near the city? I have no idea as i haven't been there before. Any advice or recommendations are greatly appreciated.
Should i just take a surf board instead?

Sydney Is in NSW not VIC.
