So wind is looking good for tomorrow and by the look of it their is a few of us has the day off. Would be good to all meet up at one location and have a good day on water. What dose everyone think. I will drive anywhere so I'm easy. Suggestions
I've only kited at Mentone a couple of times but it is good in a SW - S I think. I'll be aiming for there late morning/mid day if it looks like that's where people are going.
If you've not been there before the surf life saving club doesn't like us getting too close. Stay south of the concrete pipe.
Mentone sounds good. I've never kited their before so somewhere new is always good anyone got any info on were to park and set up as I don't really know the area. Should be their about 11 can't wait been a while since I've been out
Kitingfever - Park at the Mentone surf club, most people set up on the beach then use the grass area for pack down. Before you go out ask someone about the no kiting zone which is in front of the surf club.
Pt Leo was pretty good this arvo 2-3ft on the high tide( a bit fatter than preferable). Not much swell into pines but a nasty wind shadow close to shore
